Be my escape.

Another eventful week has passed, and basically it has been a real rollercoaster ride so far, with fifth week of school ended.I've never felt so busy before, not even during Secondary school, and now the term "busy" is firmly etched in my mind for good.Work has been flooding in from anywhere and everywhere, and due to the really tight time constraints,Im really finding it hard to even do things i used to enjoy doing, let alone blogging.

The common test's in about a week's time, and Im really beginning to cast doubts over my ability to make it out alive. Not literally of course, but some modules, such as Hydralulics, are just plain killers, with topics I've probably no chance in hell to comprehend.Oh well, thats life for you,you win some, you lose some.Still, every effort will be put in to try and at least get a pass for this module. The thought of repeating the module just shudders me.

Drifting away from the topic of common test,Im pretty glad that a two week break will begin once common test week ends, and its really a huge relief whenever I think of that.Activities have already been lined up,and I can personally say I cant wait for the term break.

Getting settled in school has never felt any more pleasing,as I get more closer to a group of mates,a clique I would call it.Although Im not really for cliques in class,I guess it cant be helped. It definitely beats having known everyone at a precise level, and not on a deeper one.Fencing's been great, moving at a steady pace, and training's been fun yet tiring.Nonetheless, its a good stress reliever, especially when I have a long day,not in the tiring sense, but the frustrating one.

The girl of my life, this is what I've to say,
:I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I don't need nothin' else
All I need is you
Why don't you just
Stay with me
Why don't you just
Stay with me
Why don't you just
Stay with me
Why don't you just
Stay with me
Enough said. She absolutely makes my day, everyday.Well, thats about it for now. Will get down to some serious blogging soon,I hope.Need some reading therapy plus retail therapy soon as well.Oh well.Cheers!

Give Me Novacaine.

Whew! What a week.work's really starting to pile up,and I really ponder at times whether I have any serious time to actually do this-blogging.The past week's been eventful,so basically one post like this is never going to be enough to sum up everything.
Went for a couple of CCAs to give myself more variety, but deep inside,I just know Fencing's still the one for me.Went for Dancesports on Tues, yes, stop rubbing your eyes already, its no typo error.A person who has two left feet like me actually found it quite enjoyable, but nonetheless,it clashes with Fencing and therefore cant be one of my permanent CCAs.But I wish those in Dancesports well, you've found yourself a fun and interesting CCA.
As always, the bonding with my classmates moving at a snail's pace really, unlike some of my other friends in other courses.I dont know, maybe its just me.But Im praying really hard that it'll start picking up pace and we can be a real bonded class by the end of the semester.(pray, pray?)
Besides the bonding part, third week of school has finally shown the true side of poly life, work, work and more work.Tutorial homework, projects, assignments, etc. They're all flooding in like there's no tomorrow.A break's sorely needed, but nevertheless, the time spent with my campmates really is a sort of therapy really. So here I extend my greatest thanks to you people.Thank you!
Other than that, comes the very first FENCING training session!Nothing beats it,although we havent progressed to handwork where we'll actually be using the sabres and foils, footwork's fun all the same!A very big Fencing fanatic here!Although I must say,the aches are definitely uncalled for.
And after all that about school, its fine to say that Im slowly getting settled down, which is really a good thing. One date to look foward to with utmost anticipation-16thMAY.The day I go get some good reads with Carrie!can't wait, can't wait.Well, thats about it.cheers!

Miles Apart.

Second week of school has offically ended, and it has been quite a rollercoaster ride so far.Fell to the sick bug on the first week as I was stricken with up and down fever temperatures.Thats pretty good evidence of how I'm adapting to poly life so far, which the early lectures,as early as 8am,aren't helping whatsoever.Classes on the first week has been quite the "slack around" or your plain "introductory time",tutorials and practicals cancelled, not bad actually.Bonding with the class itself has been going a little smoothly and yet at the same time, with its bumps along the way. With some asscracks in my class, its not surprising really.
As the second week goes, its definitely going a little better as I get more used to the good ol' early nights and even earlier awakening.Lectures, tutorials, practicals alike have been interesting, although some particular modules require some getting used to.Getting myself a CCA has never felt more pressing than before,as my seniors never stop emphasising on the importance of CCA points.Went through some look-arounds during CCA fiesta, and the school's website, and finally opted for Fencing after some much needed info.Still in the process of deciding whether to join a second CCA,a few clubs are on my mind at the moment.
Went through Fencing Intro Course today and well,it started slowly but WOW! Started the day being introduced to fencing as an evolved sport, all the way from Egyptian times.Boring, but nonetheless,it was pretty obvious when the exciting part was going to begin, and that was first hand experience! got to have a little taste of how training was going to be like, and it just showed me how unfit I've been, and a immenient fitness regime will be required soon. But still, the equipment was cool, but the duelling was even cooler! Fast-paced action all round, well,I'm just eagerly anticipating for the next training session already.FENCING oi!
Feeling really good to get back to what I enjoy doing-blogging,and the really tight schedules have not been helping. Can't wait to get a good read,"The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown has been burning my interest for past weeks, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.And as for the ol' wardrobe, its really high time I get some new additions, lest I get complaints for repetions.Getting a little tired of waking up everyday and thinking of the day's attire.Maybe a school uniform wasn't so bad after all.NOT! till then, cheers!
A little birthday wishes-Eoin,Jasmine and Kenneth:Have an enjoyable 17th birthday and all the best for your future endeavours.cheers.
