Shut your eyes - Snow PatrolBack from a ridiculous hectic week I tell you. I swear this post's gonna hit the records for an all time longest.
Monday - Tuesday.Combined chalet with class of '05 4E3 & 4E2. It was really great to see the familiar good ol' faces, some whom I've missed out for close to a year. So it was really pleasing to see them all again, people like, Eoin, Kenneth, Basil, Ganesh, Chi Hwei, Jiali, Kellyn, Jasmine, Cheryl, Regina, Swan, Valerie. If I accidentally missed out anyone, apologies cause its been such a crazy week my mind's exploding already.
Anyways, we had plenty of fun catching up with each other, had a nice BBQ, played some fun games like Indian Poker, "Zhong Chee Mi Ma" with forefeits.
Basically, it was really great to be able to catch up with everyone. Slept for less than 2 hours after playing through the night. Best thing was, I had TBC the next day.
TBC 2006 Wednesday - Friday.TBC! The event I've been most looking foward to for this holidays. It sure didn't disappoint, cause it was like how Jeremy described it, " Awesome camp, just a little short of being Legendary." I can't describe it any better.
Day One.Booked in quite late, cause I joined Jaime, Yani, Babe, Roy at Macs for breakfast.Wasn't really very hyped up cause I was seriously lacking sleep. Got called up to the sports gallery to play a "Negotiation" type of game, which involved a rope and we( I was paired up with a girl ) had to reach the wall without pulling the rope apart. I touched the wall and was in Group A.
After that, placed our bags in our dorm, and headed to the field to play, firstly, a butter ' passing' game, where we had a ruffian string through our shirts and we had to pass a slab of butter through everyone. It was dirty, but fun.
We followed that up with Operation FOPE. It was DIRTY, and exhausting. We had to do this mud-filled obstacle course, and end it with climbing up the dreaded Butter Hill. I was one of the pyramid guys, and it was shitass tiring to be under the sun and helping up people up the slope at the same time.
Bathed like there's no tomorrow after that, and we had our groupings made again. Our groups had to come up with impromtu cheers and skits to impress the crew, and my group wasn't too bad, since we didn't exactly know each other. :)
Navigated through the drain afterwards, and it was pretty alright, but tiring.
I was seriously falling asleep while waiting for my turn for the nightwalk, planned by another group of campers. Being the third last, I had Babe n Roy for company. We were seriously too bored, to the extent of 'shadow-playing' and acting out a threesome. HAHA. The nightwalk wasn't too bad, but maybe cause I was the last few, they were sort of slacking around n I didn't get spooked too much.
Hit the sack after that, which was like at 2plus am. Woke up at 8:30am the next day.
Day Two.Had some ice breakers in the morning, with a little game, called "Double Whacko". My name kena called quite a few times, but was saved each time. Not bad, then we proceeded to the next event of the day, Treasure Hunt.
I was in Group 3, and it was really fun to walk around the whole NP campus. YEAH RIGHT. It was freaking tiring, and the van carrying water-gun shooters seem to keep following us. I helped to find one piece and we were the first group. :)
Had Bondage after that, where we were tied up with a rope. ALL of us. It was damn smelly and warm, but I'm really proud we made it all the way and into the goalpost. :)
We played "Broken Tele" after that and it was hilarious, especially my group, when Gilbert n Russell decided to mess the message up. Did some really hilarious actions, laughed till my cheeks hurt.
Then we had to create our own games which other groups could play with some materials. Even though our group didn't win, I'm proud because I felt our game was the most enjoyable and fun one.
Proceeded to our last event of the camp, which was to find 99 un-broken lightsticks in the school field. We tried our best, and found only 88. But it was a good effort. :)
Bathed, and went to the student plaza to chill with Micheal, Mark, Gilbert, Russell, Chekwye, Greg, JasmineGL n Fabian the 'lao jiao'. Talked cock, and Mark was so in love with his new found word, 'Kuay Neng'. Ordered Macs, ate, and headed back to our dorm for our much needed sleep.
Slept at 5:30plus, woke up at 8:45.
Day Three.Shagged day. Last day of camp. Packed our stuffs, headed to LT73 for our last briefing and a short video by Shaun. It was quite touching,
lah. All that memories. All that new found friends, all that bond that got closer. Had a long time with photo-taking. Happy,
lah, had a picture taken with my eye candy. :) Heh. Mike was jealous. HAHA.
It was really a short one, and I headed home n knocked out. Now suffering from post camp blues. Damn it, it always happens I tell you.
And that's how my 'amazing week' went. That's one week of holidays down, one more to go. Damn fast,
lah. This year's about to come to an end. Wow.
Well, I'll end here, and with my warmest wishes, Merry Christmas! :)
Cheers!Labels: I miss camp, Post camp blues, the awesome people.

*Snaps fingers*. Well, that about sums up how my Commontest week went. Just by a snap of a fingers. It went by real quick, and sad to say, it was'nt exactly very satisfactory, and I'm expected to flunk at least one paper. BOO.
BUT! Exams are over! It's the great ol' holidays! Or is it now? Basically, it's a crazily- packed week ahead for me. It's ridiculous I tell you. I'll be involved in activities from tomorrow onwards, all the way till Friday. Fantasticccccccc.
Well, let's just say I'm really really glad the Commontests are over, the huge sign of relief on my face was so very evident after the last paper on Friday. But amidst all that stress, I actually found time to meet up with those sweet & lovely Etnika mates! Babe, Roy, Jaime, Yani, you all just make my day! :) And I've managed to find out TWO trump cards against Jaime. HAHA.Great stuff. Let's have more!
Speaking of schedules, I just completed a NUS fencing open. My team did'nt make it through to the elimination rounds, but the other team did, and got 3rd place! Excellent work! Our girls' team also managed to get 3rd place, so it was a good day for NP Fencing. Below are the pictures of the winners! :)
GREAT JOB GUYS! :) Hopefully the next time we win something, I'll be part of it. It's time to really buckle down and work not only doubly hard, but triple-ly hard.
I'll be back with more updates real soon!
Cheers!
