Over You - Chris Daughtry

WOW. I'm back to the dreary weekly update basis. But I can't help it, I can't find any other free time to do it.

2nd week's over and done with, and its back to the usual breakneck speed. I swear poly life's going to pass me by so damn quickly. The typical boring lectures, napping during them, and getting lousy lecturers, I've seen it all. Interesting and really nice lecturers? I can count them with one hand. That's CEE for you.

After last week, everything's falling into place, and I really miss the carefree times spent at SU. They all say year two's the most stressful year, and I'm really beginning to believe it.

Thankfully, GOD created friends. They're the best stress-relievers. Hanging out with Putri, Adam and Gilbert really makes my day. (: It's a good way to get away from all that stress, to just bitch and laugh out loud.

Dinner on Friday was fantastic! We (comprising of Adam, Gilbert, Putri and myself) had our dinner date at Al Ameen. YUMMY. Sambal stingray and belachan kang-kong. Absolutely divine. Craving satisfied, more cravings-dinner-dates to come! (:

OH I nearly forgot, Monday's P4 outing was great too! Although not everyone was present, it was still a nice dinner get-together. More outings, alright? Or we could just hang out at "Lao Ti Fang". HAHA.

I'm gonna be turning 18 soon, so while I'm hearing friends around me turning 18, it's going to be my turn soon man. Happy birthday Alex! (:

I so need ka-ching for my ever growing list of "wants". The list's gonna turn into a endless one soon. Work, I will.

Alright, byeeee people.

Cheers.

Seventeen Ain't So Sweet - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

First week of 'school' has ended, and another begins!
Well, if you're wondering why I said 'school', it's basically because for the past week, I've been skipping classes in order to help out at the NPSU goodie bag distribution booth at the atrium.

So, officially, school was supposed to start for me last week, but it's gonna start from tomorrow onwards. Ironically, I've met my IS classmates, but not my usual classmates.

I'm so gonna miss helping out at the booth. ): The past week has provided me with so much fun and laughter, I'd hate to miss it. The mad rush to get enough people to sign up for HOPNITE on Friday was really fun, I was writing on receipts furiously. Hehs.

Got myself a haircut on the same day, with Gilbert. It feels so strange to have short hair. It's not like I wanted it, I got a job, and long hair's a no-no. BOO.

Soon leng's 18th birthday bbq at ECP was a blast! He's like officially 18, the LEGAL age. I'll have to wait for about another 3 weeks. Hehs. HAPPY 18TH Soon Leng! (:

And so, I'm off again. To seriously get some much needed sleep. I'm sleep-deprived.

Cheers.

Until The End - Breaking Benjamin

OK. First week of school, so far, has been.
FUN.

Why? Simply because I've been helping out daily at the SU goodie bag distribution booth, and the fun and laughter are just plain unexchangable. Skipping lectures for it, has been one of my best decisions I've ever made. Hehs.

Fair enough, I've probably been skipping too much, and I've only attended my IS class so far. Ironic, isn't it? The fact that I've seen my IS classmates while I've not seen my usual classmates. But I've to say, IS just ain't gonna be any interesting or enjoyable compared to being at the booth.

Switching between the SU booth and my Fencing booth, I've managed to look at the registration numbers for fencing, and I'm really glad quite a number signed up! (:
Hopefully this batch would stay, well, at least the majority, at the very least.

Hanged out with Adam, Gilbert and Putrithepaisehrawrercopter just now at town, and it was really funny to watch both Adam and Gilbert struggling hard to fight their inner demons to go clubbing. I suddenly felt good being underage. HAHA.

It's been really fun hanging out and helping out at the SU booth for the past three days, and there's only two days left! So I'll do a little advertising here.

NPSU HOPNITE.
4th May. Convention Centre. 7pm onwards.
Registration Fee: $10.
Open to all students from NP.

Sign up people! It's gonna be a night of fun, joy and lots of beauty and brawn on display, cause there'll be a pagent going on. So take your chance to sign up! Registration is still open!

Alrights, I'm running late, I need sleep. Plenty of it.

Cheers.

Holly Wood Died - Yellowcard

I'm back!!!!!!

Back from camp, and it's just plain undescribl-able,my feelings, my emotions. FOC '07 definitely rocked. No doubts about that. Let's go back in time, starting from Day -1. *Warning - Post would be extremely long-winded. *

Day -1.
We had our own book-in day over at Russell's place, but prior to that, Michael and myself got ourselves a pair of shoes, before proceeding to Queensway to meet up with Russell and Joanne. Upon reaching Queensway, we ate, and looked around for shorts, only Joanne and myself got the shorts.
We left for Russell's place, almost drenched in rain and met up with the rest at Russell's place. Mark, Jiv,Hongsheng,Kelvin were already there, while Mohd Noh, Khai and Hashim joined later.
We played, ate, and went about lepak-ing. Some went to watch Supernatural, while I watched 'Remember the Titans'. It sure brought back memories of my FOC group TITANS.

Day 0.
Left Russell's place late, thanks to Mark-I-want-5-mins. Apparently the ones who reached on time were being punished and we joined in the punishement when we reached till everyone was there. Got screwed by Zhou, and we went to pack our stuff at the crew room.
Basically the day was much of 'Own time, own target'.
I and my fellow GLs couldnt wait for the next day.

Day 1.
CAMP day!! We were all basically hyped up and jumping around, and I was tasked to bring the freshies up the atrium stairs upon assembling in groups. I was so excited at the way the freshies were arriving in droves, I kept jumping up and down.
Returned to the sports hall after the last batch were sent, and I was overwhelmed at the sight I was treated to. Groups practising their cheers, it was an intimidating sight, but also a beautiful one.
Tried to hype my group up, but found out that the guys were really quiet compared to the girls.Dagonet was doing a good job, but I knew my group would catch up somehow.
We soon separated into our sub-groups, to play our ice-breaker games and cinderella. I found my sub-group forming a circle on their own while I was away, and it made me feeling really proud.
P4 was slowly making a impact, and I was really happy.
Being on duty during nightwalk was an extreme bore. So me and Putri decided to play around with the freshies, like making them chant "I'm scared" while walking. It entertained us a little.
Slept at close to 5am, and that was after a stupid fire drill, which proabably caused a number of freshies booking out.

Day 2.
P4 did complain about the boring ball games on Day One, but I'm sure they were'nt complaining anymore, cause it was the station games! They probably grown a phobia of butter after the games. Heh. This day probably will be my proud-est moment, cause I see my very own P4 bonding quickly, caring for each other.
It was a touching scene, especially during the ending of station games, I could feel my hair stand when they cheer-ed.
We taught the freshies campfire songs at night with Robert. Slept earlier than Day One, had a long day ahead the next day.

Day 3.
'Pia Zui' was played, and we made sure every freshie was drenched. Pool games was a bummer, no thanks to the rain. But despite that, we managed to change our own "Oi" to a new one.
Campfire! It was time to get everyone to hype up, and I could see everyone was. Although it was frustrating to hear that the skits our freshies had worked so hard for, had to be cancelled, their cheering more than made up for it.
Left school with Iggy, Junhong, Caryn, Cheryl, Evan & Desmond to get tibits for prize giving, and also got our breakfast at macs.
Brought Caryn, Cheryl, Evan & Desmond to my clubhouse to sleep. Slept at 7plus am.

Day 4.
Freshies' Bookout day. Time to emo, cause it was time to watch the freshies' leave. Had prize giving, and Percival got the 'Most Lepak' award, lepak meaning relaxed/laid back. We're still proud of our freshies. Then Ming, Razis, Michael and Desmond came out and sang some emo song, which made me on the verge of tears. When they played "Graduation", that was it. My tears flowed like a tap.
We all wept, and I really understood how my Titans GLs felt now. It was a touching scene, and I was just so proud of my freshies. I will never forget you all. (:

Night 4.
PIZZA! We had pizza to celebrate, and some of us played soccer after that, 4 hours straight! Was shagged, and just fell asleep on the steps. Woke up abruptly to find myself close to a pool of vomit. Thank god I didnt touch it. Went over to the crew room to sleep.

Day 5.
Our bookout day. Woke up early, and went over to the pool for a short swim. Bathed, and ate a little breakfast, and while waiting for lunch, took plenty of pictures, including TITANS! So glad that there were so many Titans freshies as GLs. Cleaned up the crew room, and we went over to macs to have our lunch. Bade goodbye to the rest as I took a cab with Alex home.

In short, this camp's been a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. It cannot be replaced by anything else, and I'm thankful that I'm part of this Camelot family. I'm gonna end this post off with my group 'Oi'. Sentosa tomorrow!

Percival Oi! "Shing!"
Percival Oi! "Shing Shing!"
Percival Oi! "Shing(x11times) BOTAK!"

Cheers.
